How prices are calculated
USD, billed monthly, before taxes. If a selected network is not supported, that product has no price for the full mix. YouTube comparisons cover Shorts; other post types depend on each product. LinkedIn profiles and pages each count as social accounts.
Postiz Cloud: Standard $29/month for five social accounts and one user; Team $39 for ten; Pro $49 for thirty; Ultimate $99 for one hundred. Team and above include unlimited members. We select the cheapest eligible tier, without annual discounts.
Postiz counts connected social accounts, not unique networks. Customer groups organize channels; they are not separate TryPost workspaces. Self-hosting, third-party AI costs and separate Agent Media subscriptions are excluded. The quote does not match AI generation allowances or every feature.
Buffer applies progressive monthly volume discounts. Essentials covers one user; Team includes shared access and formal approvals.

Is Postiz or Buffer cheaper?
For one person with four social accounts, monthly paid pricing is $29 for Postiz Standard and $24 for Buffer Essentials. At twelve social accounts, it is $49 for Postiz Pro and $68 for Buffer Essentials. TryPost Socials is $19 in either case. Select your actual networks and team access in the calculator; free plans and feature requirements can change the decision.
Is Postiz free if I host it myself?
Postiz offers an open-source version you can run yourself. Budget for the server, maintenance, provider credentials and any external AI services you use. Postiz Cloud is a separate paid subscription with a trial, not a permanent free hosted plan. The calculator compares monthly cloud subscriptions only.
Do Postiz and Buffer both support AI and MCP?
Yes. Both offer AI writing and MCP access for working with connected assistants. Postiz also documents API and CLI access. TryPost includes AI tools and MCP on both plans. Check the tools and generation limits your workflow needs; MCP alone is not a TryPost-exclusive advantage.
What changes when I invite a teammate?
Postiz Cloud requires Team or above to invite members. Buffer requires Team for multiple users and formal approval workflows. TryPost includes unlimited members on Socials and Workspaces. The calculator’s team option models you plus one teammate, without assuming every collaboration feature is equivalent.
Can I use Postiz or Buffer for Discord and Telegram?
Postiz supports publishing through bots to Discord and Telegram. Buffer does not list native publishing to those destinations. TryPost supports both. If you add either network, the calculator stops showing a full-mix Buffer price rather than pricing only the other social accounts.
Does TryPost get more expensive as I add social accounts?
