Claude Desktop is Anthropic’s desktop application for chatting with Claude. You can connect it to TryPost’s MCP server to manage your social media scheduling through conversation.

Prerequisites

  • Claude Desktop installed
  • A TryPost API key

Setup

Open integrations settings

In Claude Desktop, go to Settings > Integrations and click Add custom connector.

Add the TryPost server

Enter the following server URL:
https://app.trypost.it/mcp/trypost
When prompted for authentication, provide your API key as a Bearer token.

Verify the connection

Start a new conversation and ask Claude to interact with your TryPost account:
List all my scheduled posts
You should see Claude use the TryPost tools to fetch your posts.
